Whistle Stop

The Whistle Stop offers a wide variety of inexpensive, previously owned clothing, uniforms, and other merchandise to out Marine Corps and Navy members and their families. Profits generated by sales provide scholarships to military dependents and financial assistance to local, regional. and national organizations.

Tuesday and Thursdays only

From 10AM - 2PM

*Drops-offs accepted 24/7 (on side of building closest to the marine dome)

Gently Used Items:

Military clothing, military accessories, women's clothing, formalwear, men's clothing, coats, shoes, children's clothing, baby clothing, baby equipment, household furniture. kitchen appliances, cookware, linens, window treatments, automotive equipment, sporting goods, toys, crafts, jewelry, etc.

Donations:

Serviceable items in good condition are accepted for donation 24/7. Items can be dropped off on the side on the building at the door labelled "DONATIONS". There is additional shelving for donations, but please be cognizant of weather conditions if items are left on the shelves.

1. What forms of payment do you take? Cash only

2. Who can shop there? Anyone with a valid military or government ID card

3. Do you take items that can't be sold? Yes, please label those "SALVAGE"

The Whistle Stop is run by volunteers and would love to see you as their next volunteer!

The Whistle stop is the largest contributor of funds for scholarships and grants distributed by the Cherry Point Spouse Club. Without volunteers, we wouldn't be able to give back to our military and local community as much.

There are several ways that volunteers can help at The Whistle Stop. See below for which ways work best for you:

Donate a meal

Maybe you don't have time to spare working at the Whistle Stop. We completely understand, life is busy. You can still help! CPSC Members can sign-up to provide a ready-to-eat meal for our wonderful volunteers. Meal sign up will be sent via monthly newsletter

Help stock the shop

We need volunteers to help stock the shelves each Tuesday and Thursday to keep our store running and helping military families.
