Volunteering with the Cherry Point Spouse Club

Volunteering are the heart of the Cherry Point Spouse Club (CPSC). From planning events to leading sub clubs and supporting our philanthropic programs, our volunteers help us create a welcoming, connected and supportive community for military families at MCAS Cherry Point. 

There are many ways to get involved! Whether you are looking for a one-time opportunity of an ongoing role, we have something for everyone!

Ways to Volunteer:

• Executive Board or Committee Positions: Take on a leadership role by serving on our board or one of our committees. Help shape the direction and make a lasting impact on our community.
• Sub Club Leader: Lead or co-lead one of our sub-clubs, such as book clubs, fitness groups, or hobby circles, and and help bring people together through shared interests and monthly meetups.
• Operation Ball Gown: Support our annual effort to provide free formalwear to military spouses and service members. From collecting donations to helping at the event, your support helps make formal military events even more special for our community.
• Scholarship or Community Grant Committees: Join a committee that reviews applications and helps distribute funds to deserving students and local organizations. 
• Food Pantry Pop Up Committee: Coordinate quarterly food distributions for local military families. Work with volunteers and donors to combat food insecurity in our military community.
• Whistle Stop: Volunteer at our thrift shop, which supports our Scholarship & Assistance program and provides affordable goods to the community. Help with sorting, organizing, and assisting shoppers.
