PresidentCPSC President presides over all Board meetings, and appoints all Committee Chairs. The President serves an advisory role over all committees and the Whistle Stop. The President represents the club at functions when necessary, and will be familiar with the Constitution and Bylaws of the club. The President signs checks in the absence of the Treasurer and otherwise fulfills all duties necessary to the functioning of the club. | Vice-PresidentCPSC Vice President assists the President in the administration of the CPSC, presides in the absence of the President, and assumes the duties of the President should that office be vacated. The Vice President may coordinate general membership meetings and serve as the CPSC liaison to MCCS, and perform such other duties pertinent to the office. |
SecretaryCPSC Secretary will keep an accurate account of all business transactions of the regular meetings and board meetings, and maintain correspondence as requested and approved by the President. The Secretary will submit names and addresses of newly elected and appointed officers of the CPSC to the Base Commander by June 30 and submit an annual Request for Authority to continue operations of the CPSC and Whistle Stop to the Base Commander and MCCS. The Secretary will fill in other duties as needed. | TreasurerCPSC Treasurer maintains custody of the CPSC funds, disburses funds, submits a summary account balance for inclusion at the monthly board meetings; submits a written financial report at the January and May regular meetings. The Treasurer administers Whistle Stop funds and submits individual financial reports (Whistle Stop and CPSC) to a CPA by August 15 for nonprofit tax preparation. The Treasurer disburses scholarship and assistance checks, with closing entries for the year completed by June 1. The Treasurer will fill in other duties as needed. | ParliamentarianCPSC Parliamentarian interprets the CPSC Constitution and Bylaws and serves in an advisory capacity for amendments pertaining to either; and tabulates all votes of the CPSC board and of the general membership meetings. The Parliamentarian needs to make every effort to attend all CPSC monthly meetings and will fill in other duties as needed. |
